Strengthening School Support for Native American Students

At 4DECS, we work alongside school counselors and school districts to create culturally responsive services that support Native youth through every stage of their educational journey.

Program Development

We partner with schools to develop inclusive, culturally responsive services that uplift Native American students throughout their educational journey.

 

  • AVID College Planning Support We help schools integrate Native perspectives into AVID programming, ensuring college and career readiness plans honor cultural values and family/community goals.

  •  Multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) & Support We collaborate with schools to implement MTSS strategies with Native students in mind—centering culturally aware approaches that improve outcomes.

  • Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) Guidance and facilitation to help school staff collaborate and reflect on culturally responsive practices.

  • Summer Cultural Programming Custom-designed summer programs that integrate cultural teachings with college and career readiness, leadership development, and SEL.
