Offering Services

We believe that our Native American youth each have a unique purpose and gifts to build and impact their communities.  Our focus is to empower educators in delivering culturally responsive services that elevate Native American student engagement, graduation rates, and post-high school attendance.

Who We Serve

Four Directions Educational Consulting Services (4DECS)  is committed to supporting educators to integrate equity and Native American culture into their educational environments.  We collaborate with educators to create spaces that honor and acknowledge Native American culture and understanding.

We provide services to Indian Education programs, school counselors, college counselors and college access programs, behavioral specialists, and other support services to provide culturally responsive programming. Our specialties include career and college planning, social and emotional learning, academic support strategies, grant consultation, and community collaboration.

Our Four Types of Services

Direction One

Direction One Service is our CollegeBound Journey platform.

Yearly Subscription

Our online college platform supports Native American students to discover colleges, scholarships, and supplemental programs to meet their unique cultural needs and identity.

School subscriptions include group counseling curriculum and lesson plans.

Direction Two

Direction Two Service is Program Development

2-4 Months

Strategic support to tailor programming to meet the targeted educational outcomes of schools and school programs.

​

Schools are supported through lesson plans, new class development, community partnerships, and grant consultation. 

Direction Three

Direction Three is Professional Development

2-4 Hours

Educational growth opportunities to increase cultural understanding and to integrate information into practice.

​

Presentations are provide in small group (5-20 people) format to permit discussion.

Direction Four

Direction Four is Contracted Services

Ongoing, as Needed

Contract for hire service are available and focus on supporting students on a supplemental basis.  These services can be individual meetings, small group meetings, student presentation, or family presentation on school-related topics.
